Welcome to my opinion and editorial page. From time to time, I'll use this space to rant and rave about whatever I feel like at the time- I may even offer equal time for responses ( I'm still thinking about THAT).WARNING: Pompous, arrogant,self-centered, and materialistic people should stop reading NOW- you will be offended by most, if not all,of what you'll read here!

While I'm developing my first real editorial, I'll offer my Random Rants in the meantime:

1. You will not impress people by what you have bought or what you own, so don't worry yourself to death by constantly competing with others. We all have some pretty nice stuff, including me, and enjoy things you can buy , but don't believe you'll ever get the attention you want based on what you own. Try accomplishing something with your life instead.
2.A Quote From An Unknown Source: "Great people talk about ideas, ordinary people talk about things, and small people talk about other people"
3. Remember that a TV is an appliance, not the center of your life. If you plan your day around your television , ask yourself if you really like TV THAT much, or if you're using it to avoid being around other people
4. Try to leave your house once in a while and get a few hobbies that involve contact with other humans. You'll be much happier and less depressed if you see that other people are not exactly like you, and mostly likely will never want to be that way.
5. Wednesday is a stupid day for trash day. It should be on Monday so I could carry stuff out there on the weekend.
6.Don't analyze the "roles of computers in today's society" like they came from another planet and will eventually ruin your life- the Unibomber covered that ground already. Computers are appliances, just like televisons, telephones and radios, and I don't hear you whining about their "impact on society". Learn to use them in proportion to the rest of a BALANCED life and quit complaining.
7. If you don't like baseball, you have no value as a person.
